Creamery and Summers Farm

It is so much fun to experience the Washington, DC area with kids.  This weekend we went to Frederick, Maryland, to visit South Mountain Creamery and Summers Farm.  Adrian and I ended up there a few years ago on an A&P Day.  This time was definitely more fun with Valentina, the Petersons and Kormans.

At South Mountain Creamery we had some amazingly delicious ice cream and visited the dairy cows.  The best part was seeing the baby calves, a couple that were one day old.  Valentina especially loved saying "MOOO" to the cows.  We also enjoyed an old toys playground where V played with one of my favorite toys as a kid... the worm.

At Summers Farm she got her face painted for the first time.  She also met with some farm animals, went down a few slides a few times, made music, jumped in corn and went through a corn maze with her friends.
