CHCI Hispanic Heritage Month

Every year the Hispanic Caucus Institute hosts a week of events in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.

On Tuesday and Wednesday there was a public policy conference followed my evening events. The Mariachi NuevoSantander from Roma High School performed on Tuesday. It was nice to have a little South Texas here and they were incredibly talented. On Wednesday there was a comedy night which turned into date night for Adrian and me. On Thursday we started the day with breakfast with my former boss Charlie Gonzalez followed and ended with the Gala. Valentina spent the night with her Padrinos and had a blast.

It was an exhausting but fun few days. On Friday I stayed home to spend time with the littlest Tamez.
