Happy Belated Birthday Tia Jana

Today we ran a bunch of errands, turned in our Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child boxes and spent time with Jana. To celebrate her birthday on this cold day Adrian made caldo de pollo. It was delicious and Valentina enjoyed seeing Tia Jana!

Friday Fun Day

For the last 16 weeks Desi has been anxious to love on Valentina. Today she finally met Valentina and it was so fun to see her love on her. 

We had a great day with the Porters. Valentina had her first metro ride, we went to Capitol Hill, the Museum of the American Indian and Del Ray. 

It was a great Friday!

PlayDATE

Yesterday Daddy took a step back from his no dating until your 40 directive and allowed Valentina to have a playDATE with her friend Cole. 

Cole was trying to impress my classy little lady so he took her for a spin in a corvette. Thank you for acting like a gentleman Cole! 

We have some catching up to do...

It has been a while since we posted.  We have a lot of catching up to do but will start with these photos of Valentina.  

Valentina has so many puppy toys we are going to start naming them.  This one is Ziggy.

100 Days

Valentina is 100 Days Old Today. If she were a baby panda, her name would be revealed to the world. This may seem like a random fact, but the reason we know is  because the Smithsonian's giant pandas had a cub on August 23rd and we've followed her progress.

Every Vote Counts

When I was a kid I used to love going to vote with my mom.  Adrian and I want to keep that tradition alive by taking Valentina and showing her the importance of voting.  She slept through her first voting experience but we still documented it.

Three Month Collage

This was an exciting month for Valentina. She discovered her thumb, started playing with her toys more actively and celebrated the start of the fall season.

Valentina's social calendar was busy today. She had eating, bathing, sleeping, more eating and a birthday party!! 

Valentina enjoyed her 3 month birthday celebrating Harrison's 2 year birthday at Kidville in Bethesda. We played with bubbles, in the gym and got fake girl power tattoos.
