To celebrate her successful workday she went to Happy Hour and met up with her Tia Jana.
This was a scene from the press conference.
Here she is with Congressman Xavier Becerra the Chairman of the Democratic Caucus and Congresswoman Lois Capps. Both are from California.
Having a nice conversation with Congressman Becerra. He's the father of three girls so he knows girl talk. He's also an alumni of Stanford so here's hoping he gave her some early words about what it takes to get into Stanford.
Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez was my first Chairwoman in the Hispanic Caucus and was so happy to finally meet Valentina. She's the first Puerto Ricam woman elected to Congress.
The press conference got a little boring for her so we sat outside for a few minutes.
Then the press conference ended and it was time to do some more socializing. Congresswoman Velazquez came back for some more Valentina time. By this point Valentina wanted the full staff experience and took my ID away.
Congressman Jose Serrano the longest serving Member of the Caucus joined in on the fun.
After speaking to some reporters Congressman Joe Garcia of Miami, Florida visited with her.
She rounded up her photo oops with Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard. This is her second time visiting with her. They're buddies now.
After chatting it up with the Members of Congress she took a lesson in writing a press release. She liked typing (hitting) the keyboard. She also had a good time playing in Congressman Hinojosa's office.
